Who are we?
Well our names are Chris and Ketzra, and we live in Big Orange Country.

When did we start this website?
The website was founded in January of 2006, but was not officially published until January 28th, 2007.

Why do we collect gift cards from Starbucks or for that matter from any company?
It all started with a few cards that we found interesting while Ketzra was working part-time at Target. After that we began bringing home cards almost everyday. Eventually this spread to collecting Starbucks Cards as well. I guess you could call it OCD, but we really love the pictures and there are just so many of them out there. Plus ultimately the card is free once you spend it. So what can be better than that?

How do we get so many cards?
We get cards through many different means. A large number of the gift cards originally were used cards that Starbucks customers had discarded. But many of them were attained simply by purchasing them for the minimum value required. Which isn't that hard to spend... We have also traded for many cards, and even bought a few off of eBay.

Do you get something from the collection, like money from selling them to other collectors?
Yes and no. We do get something, but it's not of a monetary nature because we rarely will sell a gift card. We get joy from the cards in many forms. We love the art as mentioned and we like the friendship gained from other collectors as well as the sport of the hunt to find an elusive card no one else has found. It's all good clean fun.

Do you collect any other gift cards?
Yes, we also collect gift cards from Target, Hot Topic, Nordstroms, IKEA, and Hooters. We have limited our collecting to just the companies that we tend to actually shop at. It just makes spending the gift cards a bit easier.

Are you guys connected to Starbucks Corporation in any way?
NO. We are not employees of Starbucks nor do we have any stake in the company what-so-ever. We are merely collectors with a strange hobby. That's all, nothing more.
